Fix it with your current lawyer, or, if a change makes sense, get a referral to an attorney who is asked to commit to the Client Care Advantage™ Promise.2
Attorneys we refer to are asked to commit to the Client Care Advantage™ Promise: check-ins on a set schedule, plain-language explanations before any decision, and the lawyer you hire working your case. Tim A. Attalla, Esq. personally reviews feedback on every referral.
Too many good people get hurt twice — once by their accident, and once by the attorney who was supposed to help them.

Still not sure? Call. No script, no pitch, no follow-up if you don't want one.
1-855-FML-2DAY Calls may be recorded for quality assurance.Yes. In Michigan you can end the relationship with your lawyer at any time, for any reason or no reason. Your case stays yours: your new attorney requests the file, and the fee question is settled between the lawyers. Talk to someone first so deadlines are covered during the switch.
Usually not. A fired contingency-fee lawyer can generally claim only the reasonable value of the work already done, and that typically comes out of the single contingency fee when the case resolves — not on top of it. Costs your lawyer advanced may be repaid from your settlement or award. Every fee agreement is different, so have yours reviewed.
We keep your inquiry confidential. We do not contact your current attorney, the insurance company, or the other side as part of a second opinion. Nothing changes with your case unless you decide to make a change.
The first conversation is a free consultation of about 30 minutes. If we refer you to a new attorney, any referral fee is paid by that attorney — you never pay us out of pocket for a referral.
Staying with the wrong attorney can hurt it more. We look at timing, deadlines like the statute of limitations, and where your case stands before recommending any switch. Sometimes the answer is "don't switch," and we'll tell you that too.
